The Chardon family founded their farm in 1983 in Bellegarde, Gard, France, opting for organic farming. In 1999, they began cultivating vines with the help of their son Jérôme, adding winemaking to their market gardening activity. The Terre des Chardons estate covers 9 hectares of biodynamic vines, integrated into an organic farm with vegetable and olive crops. They produce vintages from Rhône grape varieties, Demeter-certified since 2002, in AOP Costières de Nîmes and Clairette de Bellegarde.
