Angostura 1919 is an exceptionally elegant amber rum from Trinidad & Tobago. Its name pays homage to the year a fire destroyed the distillery's casks—only a few barrels, miraculously preserved, later yielded a rum of unparalleled smoothness. Aged in American oak barrels, it reveals a rich and harmonious profile, marked by notes of vanilla, caramel, honey, and toasted almond. On the palate, the balance between roundness and complexity is perfect, with a long and silky finish.
