L'Apôtre LV20 (base 2020) is David Léclapart's flagship cuvée, sourced from a single plot ("La Pierre Saint-Martin") planted by his grandfather just after the war. This Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay) is a privileged testament to an exceptional heritage, where old vines draw upon a complexity found nowhere else. Vinified in oak barrels with no dosage, this Champagne possesses a disarming verticality. On the nose, it reveals itself with rare nobility: smoky chalk, candied citrus, and a touch of dried flowers. On the palate, it is a burst of pure energy. The texture is dense, sculpted by time, with a saline finish of infinite persistence that leaves the palate in a state of absolute freshness.
